We have a combined knowledge of over 50 years in the industry, that has enabled us to engage in direct contracts with multiple utility companies helping us to deliver energy saving measures under ECO & Local Authority schemes. We are also an OLEV approved installer of Electrical Vehicle charging points, for both the home and workplace charging schemes.

Introduction to ECO

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme in Great Britain to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty by installing energy saving measures.

The scheme began in April 2013, and over time it has been amended. The latest version is called ECO3, which commenced on the 1st October 2018 and will finish in March 2022.

Why should I apply?

We understand that heating your home can be quite costly, especially when your boiler breaks down and you have to replace it. The average cost of replacing a broken boiler is £1,800, however, with the help of a heating grant we can help to reduce that cost significantly and provide you with an A-rated energy efficient boiler which will help to reduce your monthly energy bills.

 

Energy saving measures we install

The current grants help to cover some or all the costs of installing the following energy saving measures:

• Gas Boiler Replacements

• New Central Heating Systems

• Electric Storage Heaters

• Solar PV

• Room in Roof Insulation

• Internal Solid Wall Insulation

• Underfloor Insulation

• Loft Insulation

​​​​​​​​​Are there any limits to funding?

Each property is allocated a certain amount of funding based on the following variables:

• Property type (mid terrace, semi detached, detached…)

• Wall type (cavity/solid)

• Number of bedrooms

• Current heating system (gas boiler, electric heater…)

 

We carry out a free no obligation survey to record this information and determine what materials will be required to complete the installation.  Our office will then calculate the funding available and cost of the install. If a contribution is required at this point you will be informed and if you do not wish to proceed with the installation there is no obligation.
